Nepal Telecom has announced new Monsoon Offer 2018. They regularly have different offers and schemes on different occasions and seasons. This offer from NTC is starting from Shrawan 1st of 2075. It is implementing just with the new Fiscal Year 2075/76. This scheme is a bit special because lots of new tax rules have been changed. Government is now imposing 13% TSC on internet and Telephones. There are many price revisions and NTC has made up to their customers with this new offer.
ADSL
Lets start with the most popular broadband service of the country or ADSL. Nepal Telecom ADSL service is still the biggest fixed line broadband service. Previously NTC revised the ADSL tariff to Rs 700/month as offer. But now it is Rs 800/month for the regular 5 Mbps unlimited package. Till Ashad 2075 we were paying Rs 700 per month and now there is increase of Rs 100.
FTTH
The price of Unlimited 8 Mbps FTTH service is also now Rs 800/month. For Corporate packs, the 10 Mbps 3 months service costs Rs 10,300 while the 20 Mbps 3 months service costs Rs 19,500. In both FTTH and ADSL, we see that paying in bulk for whole year or half year.
In the SMS Pack, users are getting 20 SMS for Rs 5 per day. They can also get 300 SMS just at Rs 60 for 30 days. It can be activated by sending SMS at 1415. Users need to type SMS20 and just send. With daily India call offer, users can make 15 minutes call to India for just Rs 35. per day. Type DINDA and send it to 1415. One of the interesting scheme is Weekend packs which gives 3 GB Data for Rs 100. This means 1 GB data per day with 7 days validity and only applicable for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Just type WEEKEND and send it to 1415.
Data Packs Offers
There are many data pack schemes from Nepal Doorsanchar. This includes All Time Data Pack which is offering 50% more data. Then we have Unlimited 1 hour pack which gives unlimited data, voice and SMS for an hour just at Rs 18. It can be activated by sending SMS FDPACK at 1415. This is our absolute favorite when we need to do a work in go and need internet for about an hour.
The Night time Data pack is also offering 50% more data. For example at Rs 5 users can get 45 MB regular plus 23 MB bonus and total of 68 MB data for one night. Unlimited Night Data pack is also fantastic because users can surf from 10 PM-6 AM at just Rs 15. User can activate this by sending NUNL to 1415.
Social Media packs are also good offers for the Twitter and Facebook crawlers. The streaming data pack for YouTube and WOW Time is pretty great with 50% surplus. Even 4G data users are getting the bonus. At just Rs 100 users can get 600 MB of data for 28 days. There are many such offers and customers can easily see them in NTC’s website.
