Panasonic P100 is the new 2018 budget range phone in Nepali market. Official distributor, Allied Tradelink launched this new phone for the consumers. It is a very interesting phone for this price segment. This mobile comes with lots of features including face unlock. The official Panasonic P100 price in Nepal is Rs 11,990. The Panasonic P100 launched internationally on February. This phone features a 5” IPS LCD screen with 720×1280 screen resolution. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass on top. The phone has a 2.5D curve screen for better look and experience. This is very unique feature for phone of such segment.
Inside the smartphone, users get 1.25 GHz quad core processor on Mediatek MT6737 chipset. The Nepali model of Panasonic P100 has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. However the device can support large 128 GB memory card as well. GPU on the chipset is Mali T720 which is decent enough for the screen resolution and light gaming.
Coming to camera, there is 8 MP shooter at back and 5 MP at front side. Both sides have LED flash for low light situations. These sensors can take photos of decent quality. However the front camera is now useful for Face Unlock feature as well. Panasonic P100 comes with a 2200 mAh battery and runs with Android Nougat.
There is fingerprint scanner at the back side below camera module. It has dual SIM support for connectivity options. Panasonic is offering a good phone with decent hardware and build quality. It is good to see 2 GB RAM and Gorilla Glass protection on this phone. It can handle day to day regular tasks easily and will last about a day with ease.
Usually mobiles at this segment don’t have such features. Each phone as its own unique features. Here, P100 has a moderately powerful hardware but with a very durable screen. It has higher RAM which is useful for some people and it is good choice for them.
